hello :)

writing this one late, too. again. oops!

it's a lowercase day. can i let a single day affect the writing of
the entire week? is that just? i do not know. nevertheless-

not much happened! not much went on.

someone gave me a disposable nicotine vape and i learned i enjoy
the high i get from nic, but i will not disappoint myself and my
girlfriend by purchasing one of my own. it ran out and started
to taste some burnt.

I did Day 3 Part 1 of Advent of Code. It was very fun! Part 2
very much invalidated my Part 1 solution, so I'll have to do
a rewrite to overcome that problem.

In corgi news:<br />
I disabled the syntax highlighting on a tip from my friend
<i>(thanks, cat)</i> after they asked how it worked. I sent the
python script and, with horror, they asked if it spawned a python
interpreter every single time.

yes! it did! not anymore it does not, though, because i disabled it.

and after that? my memory consumption fell and my cpu usage crashed
to the floor and my network transfer dropped pretty good. do i have
numbers? not right not, but that's okay. it helped a lot!

anyway!<br />
i've been gently working on a fcgi <i>(fast cgi)</i> replacement to
slowly consume cgit. it does not yet have a name! my nameless being.

my first priority is handling diffs and individual files in diffs,
which actually seems like the hardest thing to do. so perhaps i will
do something smaller and gentler first.

i also got an adhd diagnosis towards the end of the week. i am very
hopeful for the medication, and very nervous that it won't do
anything and i am just <i>like this</i>.
