Change to resolve and update compiler and libs for uses. [breaking-change] Enum variants are now in both the value and type namespaces. This means that if you have a variant with the same name as a type in scope in a module, you will get a name clash and thus an error. The solution is to either rename the type or the variant.

This unifies the `non_snake_case_functions` and `uppercase_variables` lints into one lint, `non_snake_case`. It also now checks for non-snake-case modules. This also extends the non-camel-case types lint to check type parameters, and merges the `non_uppercase_pattern_statics` lint into the `non_uppercase_statics` lint. Because the `uppercase_variables` lint is now part of the `non_snake_case` lint, all non-snake-case variables that start with lowercase characters (such as `fooBar`) will now trigger the `non_snake_case` lint. New code should be updated to use the new `non_snake_case` lint instead of the previous `non_snake_case_functions` and `uppercase_variables` lints. All use of the `non_uppercase_pattern_statics` should be replaced with the `non_uppercase_statics` lint. Any code that previously contained non-snake-case module or variable names should be updated to use snake case names or disable the `non_snake_case` lint. Any code with non-camel-case type parameters should be changed to use camel case or disable the `non_camel_case_types` lint. [breaking-change]

It is being changed because the previous wording was ambiguous. `a.divides(b)` implied `a % b == 0` but it sounds like the other way around. `9.divides(&3) == true` but we might read that as "does 9 divide 3?". It has been renamed to sidestep the ambiguity. Work around the change by using `is_multiple_of` instead. [breaking-change]

It used to be the case that Null < Null, but I can't think of any reason for an ordering other than the default one so I just switched it over to using the derived implementation. This commit shuffles around some of the `rand` code, along with some reorganization. The new state of the world is as follows: * The librand crate now only depends on libcore. This interface is experimental. * The standard library has a new module, `std::rand`. This interface will eventually become stable. Unfortunately, this entailed more of a breaking change than just shuffling some names around. The following breaking changes were made to the rand library: * Rng::gen_vec() was removed. This has been replaced with Rng::gen_iter() which will return an infinite stream of random values. Previous behavior can be regained with `rng.gen_iter().take(n).collect()` * Rng::gen_ascii_str() was removed. This has been replaced with Rng::gen_ascii_chars() which will return an infinite stream of random ascii characters. Similarly to gen_iter(), previous behavior can be emulated with `rng.gen_ascii_chars().take(n).collect()` * {IsaacRng, Isaac64Rng, XorShiftRng}::new() have all been removed. These all relied on being able to use an OSRng for seeding, but this is no longer available in librand (where these types are defined). To retain the same functionality, these types now implement the `Rand` trait so they can be generated with a random seed from another random number generator. This allows the stdlib to use an OSRng to create seeded instances of these RNGs. * Rand implementations for `Box<T>` and `@T` were removed. These seemed to be pretty rare in the codebase, and it allows for librand to not depend on liballoc. Additionally, other pointer types like Rc<T> and Arc<T> were not supported. If this is undesirable, librand can depend on liballoc and regain these implementations. * The WeightedChoice structure is no longer built with a `Vec<Weighted<T>>`, but rather a `&mut [Weighted<T>]`. This means that the WeightedChoice structure now has a lifetime associated with it. * The `sample` method on `Rng` has been moved to a top-level function in the `rand` module due to its dependence on `Vec`. cc #13851 [breaking-change]

provided (everywhere but treemap) This commit deprecates rev_iter, mut_rev_iter, move_rev_iter everywhere (except treemap) and also deprecates related functions like rsplit, rev_components, and rev_str_components. In every case, these functions can be replaced with the non-reversed form followed by a call to .rev(). To make this more concrete, a translation table for all functional changes necessary follows: * container.rev_iter() -> container.iter().rev() * container.mut_rev_iter() -> container.mut_iter().rev() * container.move_rev_iter() -> container.move_iter().rev() * sliceorstr.rsplit(sep) -> sliceorstr.split(sep).rev() * path.rev_components() -> path.components().rev() * path.rev_str_components() -> path.str_components().rev() In terms of the type system, this change also deprecates any specialized reversed iterator types (except in treemap), opting instead to use Rev directly if any type annotations are needed. However, since methods directly returning reversed iterators are now discouraged, the need for such annotations should be small. However, in those cases, the general pattern for conversion is to take whatever follows Rev in the original reversed name and surround it with Rev<>: * RevComponents<'a> -> Rev<Components<'a>> * RevStrComponents<'a> -> Rev<StrComponents<'a>> * RevItems<'a, T> -> Rev<Items<'a, T>> * etc. The reasoning behind this change is that it makes the standard API much simpler without reducing readability, performance, or power. The presence of functions such as rev_iter adds more boilerplate code to libraries (all of which simply call .iter().rev()), clutters up the documentation, and only helps code by saving two characters. Additionally, the numerous type synonyms that were used to make the type signatures look nice like RevItems add even more boilerplate and clutter up the docs even more. With this change, all that cruft goes away. [breaking-change]

`TotalEq` is now just an assertion about the `Eq` impl of a type (i.e. `==` is a total equality if a type implements `TotalEq`) so the extra method is just confusing. Also, a new method magically appeared as a hack to allow deriving to assert that the contents of a struct/enum are also TotalEq, because the deriving infrastructure makes it very hard to do anything but create a trait method. (You didn't hear about this horrible work-around from me :(.)
