From 335c9609c6340a9933915e717ee7a722bd9f81bc Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Josh Triplett Date: Tue, 1 Mar 2022 14:46:41 -0800 Subject: Provide C FFI types via core::ffi, not just in std The ability to interoperate with C code via FFI is not limited to crates using std; this allows using these types without std. The existing types in `std::os::raw` become type aliases for the ones in `core::ffi`. This uses type aliases rather than re-exports, to allow the std types to remain stable while the core types are unstable. This also moves the currently unstable `NonZero_` variants and `c_size_t`/`c_ssize_t`/`c_ptrdiff_t` types to `core::ffi`, while leaving them unstable. --- src/tools/tidy/src/pal.rs | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'src') diff --git a/src/tools/tidy/src/pal.rs b/src/tools/tidy/src/pal.rs index cb6d56a167d..f5ff3860afe 100644 --- a/src/tools/tidy/src/pal.rs +++ b/src/tools/tidy/src/pal.rs @@ -46,7 +46,7 @@ const EXCEPTION_PATHS: &[&str] = &[ // pointer regardless of the target architecture.
