| 2018-09-06 | Migrated slew of run-pass tests to various subdirectories of `ui/run-pass/`. | Felix S. Klock II | -21/+0 | |
| 2018-08-05 | Convert unknown_features lint into an error | varkor | -3/+0 | |
| 2015-04-08 | Remove pretty-expanded from failing tests | Alex Crichton | -1/+0 | |
| This commit removes pretty-expanded from all tests that wind up calling panic! one way or another now that its internals are unstable. | ||||
| 2015-03-23 | rustdoc: Replace no-pretty-expanded with pretty-expanded | Brian Anderson | -0/+2 | |
| Now that features must be declared expanded source often does not compile. This adds 'pretty-expanded' to a bunch of test cases that still work. | ||||
| 2015-03-03 | Add `: Box<_>` or `::Box<_>` type annotations to various places. | Felix S. Klock II | -1/+1 | |
| This is the kind of change that one is expected to need to make to accommodate overloaded-`box`. ---- Note that this is not *all* of the changes necessary to accommodate Issue 22181. It is merely the subset of those cases where there was already a let-binding in place that made it easy to add the necesasry type ascription. (For unnamed intermediate `Box` values, one must go down a different route; `Box::new` is the option that maximizes portability, but has potential inefficiency depending on whether the call is inlined.) ---- There is one place worth note, `run-pass/coerce-match.rs`, where I used an ugly form of `Box<_>` type ascription where I would have preferred to use `Box::new` to accommodate overloaded-`box`. I deliberately did not use `Box::new` here, because that is already done in coerce-match-calls.rs. ---- Precursor for overloaded-`box` and placement-`in`; see Issue 22181. | ||||
| 2015-01-30 | Remove all `i` suffixes | Tobias Bucher | -2/+2 | |
| 2015-01-08 | fallout: run-pass tests that use box. (many could be ported to `Box::new` ↵ | Felix S. Klock II | -0/+3 | |
| instead in the future.) | ||||
| 2014-10-02 | tests: remove uses of Gc. | Eduard Burtescu | -4/+0 | |
| 2014-07-26 | Remove managed_box gate from tests | Brian Anderson | -1/+0 | |
| No longer does anything. | ||||
| 2014-06-24 | librustc: Remove the fallback to `int` from typechecking. | Niko Matsakis | -4/+4 | |
| This breaks a fair amount of code. The typical patterns are: * `for _ in range(0, 10)`: change to `for _ in range(0u, 10)`; * `println!("{}", 3)`: change to `println!("{}", 3i)`; * `[1, 2, 3].len()`: change to `[1i, 2, 3].len()`. RFC #30. Closes #6023. [breaking-change] | ||||
| 2014-06-14 | rustc: Obsolete the `@` syntax entirely | Alex Crichton | -2/+4 | |
| This removes all remnants of `@` pointers from rustc. Additionally, this removes the `GC` structure from the prelude as it seems odd exporting an experimental type in the prelude by default. Closes #14193 [breaking-change] | ||||
| 2014-05-06 | librustc: Remove `~EXPR`, `~TYPE`, and `~PAT` from the language, except | Patrick Walton | -4/+4 | |
| for `~str`/`~[]`. Note that `~self` still remains, since I forgot to add support for `Box<self>` before the snapshot. How to update your code: * Instead of `~EXPR`, you should write `box EXPR`. * Instead of `~TYPE`, you should write `Box<Type>`. * Instead of `~PATTERN`, you should write `box PATTERN`. | 2013-05-19 | Use assert_eq! rather than assert! where possible | Corey Richardson | -2/+2 | |
| 2013-03-29 | librustc: Remove `fail_unless!` | Patrick Walton | -2/+2 | |

| 2011-11-18 | Update stdlib, compiler, and tests to new kind system | Marijn Haverbeke | -1/+1 | |
| This involved adding 'copy' to more generics than I hoped, but an experiment with making it implicit showed that that way lies madness -- unless enforced, you will not remember to mark functions that don't copy as not requiring copyable kind. Issue #1177 | ||||
